Herbalist in Residency at Roots

Jillian Borchard, M.S.,
Clinical Herbalist, has been working in the Supplements Department at
Roots Market since 2002, while simultaneously receiving her Masters of
Science in Herbal Medicine degree from Tai Sophia Institute in 2005 and
developing her own private practice over the past 2 ½ years.
January 2008 marks the
beginning of a new position for Jillian at Roots Market. With her
growing need to have more time for her clinical practice, and her
desire to be of greater service to Roots customers, Jillian is now
officially the Resident Herbalist for both Roots Market locations.
Jillian will now
be available to customers for free ½ hour
consultations on Wednesdays from 3-7pm in Clarksville and Thursdays
from 3-7pm in Olney. During these scheduled times, Jillian will also be
available to help walk-in customers, but if you are a customer who
knows you would like her personal attention, you are encouraged to sign
up ahead of time to ensure her availability.
